Autumn teaches us so much about letting go and embracing change. As we travel through darker, colder days and nights nature reminds us to let go and trust the natural rhythm of the seasons; the darkness is just as important as the light. We need both, just like the sun and the moon. One cannot exist without the other.
Equally, when it comes to self love, it important to learn to love and accept even the parts of us we may dislike, resist or neglect. It is important to recognise our own shadows and how they serve our growth and development.
This retreat creates space for you acknowledge the dark and light within you, through self love and self compassion.
Quite often in the modern world our yin (receiving, feminine energy) and yang (giving, masculine energy) is out of balance.

We will create a sacred space for self love and rejuvenation through reflection, mindfulness, healing and meditation.

If you prefer silent time, you may stay in the retreat room for relaxation, or spend some mindful/silent time in the beautiful garden.

The session takes place upstairs in the yoga studio accessible by stairs only.
Please bring indoor slippers or socks as we are unable to wear shoes in the studio.
You will be seated or lying on yoga mats during the retreat. Some cushions and blankets will be provided but you are welcome to bring additional blankets/cushions for extra cosiness and comfort.
Chairs can be provided too.
There is a kitchen with plenty of options of tea, coffee and herbal teas. There is also a fridge if you wish to use it to keep your lunch in
